Here's a small share of positive reminder of how special each of us truly is! the saddest thing i ever heard was my own mind speaking these words of condemnation, blame and shame a guilty verdict full of pain the constant chatter in my brain could slowly drive someone insane and when i tell it to just STOP it mocks me and repeats that thought the more i try to not tune in the voices reach a loud cruel din like leaves that swirl through gale force winds the thoughts descend on me and win common distractions make things worse is this a self-fulfilling curse? maybe they're right and this is true the things i am are my issue there is no more horrific fate than these relentless thoughts self-hate but then i ask them to expound and strangely were no answers found i let it chatter on and on and slowly surely they were gone the caucus started to abate there was no logic to the hate and then i realize i control the things i think that touch my soul a lovelight started breaking through a love that only speaks what's true of grace and beauty cherished one of worthiness beyond the sun the loudest thing i ever heard were things unspoken here in words #selflove #innerbeauty #selfesteem #iam #poem #poetry #spiritualawakening #read #poetrycommunity #showyourglow
