There are plenty of reasons why you should include fruit in your diet, and another reason that you should include banana peels in your diet is because of their rich antioxidant content. One of the top recommendations that the American Heart Association offers to people with high blood pressure is to eat at least six servings of fruits and/or vegetables a day. The AHA also recommends that you consume ten servings of either whole grains or vegetable every day. In addition to bananas and sweet potatoes, studies have also shown that blueberries, strawberries, pinto beans, peas, spinach, kale, cabbage, corn, squash and sweet peas are all great sources of vitamin c. As you can see, bananas and sweet potatoes are packed full of vitamins and minerals. The good thing about eating these foods is that they are very healthy and you donҴ need to spend a lot of money to get them. You can find them in the produce section of your local grocery store and in many other places. Also, the vitamins and minerals found in these foods are readily available through natural food stores and even through online retailers. As you can see, bananas and sweet potatoes are loaded with vitamins and minerals. If you want to get more energy, improve your immune system, and add more nutrients to your diet, you should consider adding them to your diet. However, if you are trying to lose weight, it might be better for you to consider replacing the white potato with a medium potato, or adding vegetables (like onions and broccoli) to your diet instead of the white potato.
