C. Douglas Evans, MD is a specialist in Cataract and Refractive Surgery as well as disease and surgery of the anterior segment of the eye such as glaucoma. He has been in practice with North Suburban Eye Associates on the North Shore of Boston since 1993 and serves as the managing partner and owner of the practice. Under his leadership the practice has grown from a single office solo practice to one with three offices in Wakefield, Winchester and Beverly and a professional staff of three full-time ophthalmologists, three full-time optometrists and five part-time ophthalmic subspecialists. His tenure also coincided with the collaborative development of the North Shore Cataract and Laser Center located in Stoneham which provides convenient high quality outpatient ambulatory eye surgery.
