Looking for some guidance This is my second contract. I am in the middle of a contract and they cut my pay. The hourly is less than what I made as a staff nurse. Although the weekly is still higher that just really rubs me the wrong way and feels so disrespectful. I know they are hurting for nurses and it just feel like they are spitting in my face, although I know itҳ not personal. I am considering looking for a new contract to start before this one is over and terminate this contract. I feel like if they can just go in and mess with my pay whenever they want, then I reserve the right to terminate and go elsewhere where my pay is honored and my presence is appreciated (hopefully anyway). However, I donҴ want to burn any bridges or turn off any future travel jobs by terminating. Will they see that I terminated this job and view me as difficult and not want to hire me? Will word get out to other facilities potentially and that make me less hireable? Should I just bend over and take it?
