Just starting to explore the concept of travel nursing and interested in advice on where to start. My family is relocating to a new state at some point in the next year and I thought travel nursing might be a great way to try out different hospitals before selecting one more permanently. Are different agencies stronger in different areas of the country? How do you go about selecting an agency? Do you have to sign up with an agency before you can see the available opportunities? Are there ever part time opportunities available?Literally ANY advice anyone can give would be helpful. I think I've probably missed the boat on all of the disaster pay and all that but still interested in giving it a go. Quick background, I do ICU and am possibly looking at SoCal.
