James Smith is franchise owner/operator of Dryer Vent Wizard, a home service franchise founded in Modesto, Ca. James Smith acquired the rights to franchise Dryer Vent Wizard in February 2008. Dryer Vent Wizard concentrates on dryer fire avoidance and "urgent response" dryer and vent maintenance, repair, upgrade and alterations. Dryer vent cleaning and service by the Wizard helps keep dryers working properly to minimize the risk of dryer fires and reduce energy costs. Prior to being a Dryer Vent Wizard franchisee, Smith was employed with DHE Trucking Co. In the course of his 11 years as a truck driver, James received multiple safety distinctions and an excellence award. James Smith takes tremendous gratification in his work. He has gone the extra mile to further his education by becoming CSIA Certified (contractor license # 943017) in dryer exhaust services.
