You've been trying to set goals for yourself, but you're not sure how? You want to get organized, but you are not sure where to start. You have so many things you want to get done, but where do you begin? Then SMART goal setting is the perfect place for you to start! SMART goal setting can be a great way to get started with your goals. It's an acronym that stands for Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, and Time-bound. In this video, we will show you how to use the SMART goal setting tool and give some examples of what it might look like in practice. We'll also talk about why this is such a powerful technique and how it can help you achieve success in all areas of life! There are many reasons why you struggle with goal setting. Maybe you don’t know the first thing about what to do when it comes to goals, or maybe you just need a little help getting started. We've all had this problem before, so don’t worry! SMART goal setting is here to help you. S For Specific: A good goal is specific, clear and concise. You should have a very clear idea of what it is that you want to achieve. If your goal is too vague, you may find that you don’t know what to do or where to start! Knowing exactly what it is that you are setting out to achieve, will give you focus and clarity on what you need to do. You can always come back to your goal or change it later if needed! For example, “I want to save money for a vacation” is not specific. You need to know how much money and for what? Where do you want to go on vacation and when? “I want to save $3000 by May 2022, so I can travel Europe this summer!” Is specific. M For Measurable: A good goal should be measurable. This means it should include a number, date, or frequency. You need to set goals that can be monitored and measured in some way. If you are not sure if your goal is measurable, try to quantify it in some way. To know more, watch full video:
