Have you ever came across a person and thought "He is so smart and hardworking, he should be rich by now." or something along those lines? But in reality, this person is not as successful as he should be. So, what really went wrong? Well, it turns out that being smart and working hard does not necessarily equate to success. There are actually a lot of factors that affect the success of a person which may be beyond their control. 1. They believe their own hype and start believing they're invincible. So, the thing about being successful is that it's an ongoing process. There will always be people who are better than you at various things. And when that happens, these people start to feel defeated and don't know how to get out of their rut. The feeling of invincibility can make a person overestimate their abilities and not try as hard as they should in fear of failing. 2. They think they will always be successful, so they stop taking risks or pushing themselves. So a lot of successful people get to a point in their lives where they start thinking that whatever they do, it will turn out fine. That might be true for a little while but eventually, you'll hit a slump and things won't work out the way you want them to. To know more, watch full video:
