Today we are talking about how to get permission from LAANC to fly at the Las Vegas Strip using the Kittyhawk App. Some of you may know that the Las Vegas strip is within the 5 mile radius of the McCarran International Airport, making it illegal to fly over the Vegas strip without local ATC permission. This can easily be done using the LAANC system, which stands for Low Altitude authorization and notification capability.
